Hi, I’m Anna

a dog trainer, lifelong animal lover, and advocate for collaborative, fulfilling relationships between people and their pets.

My specialty is multi-dog households, and my mission is simple: to help people live fuller, more connected lives with their dogs. I believe training should support both your lifestyle and your dog’s needs blending structure, movement, and clear communication.

I grew up with working-line German Shepherds and a field-bred Labrador which taught me much about clarity, structure, genetics, and purpose. Today I share my home in downtown Menlo Park with three incredible rescue dogs of my own. We live, train, and adventure together, from trail runs and road trips to quiet mornings at the coffee shop.

I began my career in animal care at 19 with a successful dog-sitting and daycare business, where I learned firsthand the value of trust, consistency, and compassion. Since then, I’ve expanded my training education through hands-on experience, mentorship, and coursework with some of the industry’s top schools including the Michael Ellis School and Bart Bellon’s NePoPo® system.

My approach is rooted in working-dog principles but tailored to real-life households, creating well-mannered, confident dogs who are as comfortable off-leash in the woods as they are under a café table in town. Whether you’re starting fresh with a new puppy or managing a dynamic pack, I’m here to help you and your dog thrive together.
